Dear Colleagues,
By
this year we are entering into the 2nd year of publication of
our esteemed journal. I am delighted to inform you that we are
getting a very good response from our colleagues in the form of
sending lot of papers for publication. We try to adjust as much
as possible but some authors have to wait till the next issue. I
am also happy to inform you that other associations of the Arab
world such as The Arab Medical Association against Cancer
(AMAAC) has also launched their first publication by the name of
Pan Arab Journal of Oncology in last March thereby increasing
the scientific activities in the region.
As per traditions of our journal in this issue we are
highlighting one of the youngest cancer centre of the Gulf area
ie Oman Cancer Centre. Although the centre is young but it is
born strong with all the latest facilities in the field of
cancer management.
We are still working on the Best Paper Award as promised in the
last issue & I hope very soon we will be able to announce that.
We are also doing our efforts to make this journal as an indexed
one at the earliest.
I encourage all our colleagues to visit our website ie

about the cancer field activities of the gulf & Arab world and
also to attend regional conferences to share their views & to
meet each other.
