The importance of this workshop, it is for the first time in the region that the cancer patient’s journey is evaluated and the areas of delay that cause the progression of the disease in the cancer patient as well as the decrease in the rate of recovery have been searched for, and this workshop has shed light on awareness programs and patient reviews in primary care.
Dr. Al-Saleh states that it was important to have guidance systems from to diagnose to follow up the patient after the end of his treatment, to discuss the pros and cons of each of those stages, and to find solutions to these negatives to ensure that the patient receives the speed diagnosis, speed treatment, and good follow-up, which is reflected positively in an increase in early detection and an increase in recovery rates, as well as an increase in early detection of relapse and this, is undoubtedly an important and fundamental requirement to save the lives of many patients who trust the health system, and the health system must be the place of this trust.
