9th Gulf Week for Cancer Awareness

We are delighted to inform the 9th Gulf Week for Cancer Awareness (1-7 Feb 2024), a zoom meeting was held where active participation was observed from the GFFCC board and affiliated societies spanning across the Gulf region and Yemen. The meeting served as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of cancer awareness.

The meeting concluded that this year’s theme revolves around the powerful slogan, “We are with you” (نحن معكم), emphasizing solidarity and support for individuals and families affected by cancer. The chosen theme reflects our commitment to standing together in the fight against cancer and fostering a sense of unity throughout the community.

We are actively encouraging societies affiliated with GFFCC to contribute more activities and campaigns. Our aim is to compile and share all scheduled events for increased visibility. This initiative is part of our broader strategy to use this dedicated week as a platform for not only spreading cancer awareness but also for engaging in various activities within the field. GFFCC societies participation and contributions will play a crucial role in making this week a comprehensive and impactful effort towards raising awareness and fostering meaningful initiatives in the fight against cancer.
