Gulf Oncology Society Meeting

During the BEST of ASTRO Gulf event in Dubai on April 26, 2024, Dr Khaled AlSaleh, General Secretary for GFFCC, had a meeting with members of the Gulf Oncology Society, and the meeting yielded fruitful outcomes. The young Gulf doctors exhibited keen enthusiasm for assuming leadership roles within the group, accepting the recommendations presented to them. They are eager to organize conferences, promote scientific research, facilitate interconnections among Gulf doctors, review and develop Gulf guidelines, and establish a network for medical professionals. Despite recognizing the presence of obstacles, including internal challenges within the medical community, they remain steadfast in their commitment. Through persistent efforts, they volunteer their time and expertise, determined to serve their respective countries through impactful initiatives.
