Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Society for Smoking and Cancer Prevention, President of the Cancer Patients Fund in the Society, spoke from Riyadh, expressing his pride that the KSSCP and the (Support for Cancer Patients) project, presented by the Cancer Patients Fund at the KSSCP, won the project award. The Fund also allows a cancer patient who has reached the late stages of his disease to travel to his country to be among his family, with the Fund bearing all the costs related to that, while giving the patient an amount that helps him to live in his country until his condition stabilizes, Dr. Al-Saleh explained that in addition to caring for the patient financially and psychologically, there is a special interest in the spiritual aspect, which is represented in conducting free Umrah trips for cancer patients with their companions within a delegation that includes specialized medical and administrative teams based on providing the best services to facilitate Umrah trips for these patients. Umrah trips have been launched Blessing since 1999 and benefited more than 1500 patients and their medication.
