Opening Ceremony of the Fifth Gulf Week for Cancer Awareness, Kuwait

Today, Sunday, February 2/2020, the official opening of the fifth Gulf Week for Cancer Awareness was held under the patronage of Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, Minister of Health, and on behalf of it were Dr. Hamoud Al-Zoubi, Director of the Health Region of Hawalli, and the opening was attended by Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Saleh, Secretary-General of the Gulf Federation for Cancer Control (GFFCC) and Dr. Ali AlZahrani, Executive Director of the Gulf Center for Cancer Control in Riyadh, affiliated to the Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, and Dr. Hessa Majed Al-Shaheen, Chair of the Higher Coordination Committee for the Fifth Gulf Week for Cancer Awareness in Kuwait, attended by both the Saudi Ambassador and Ambassador Bahrain and a representative from the UAE embassy in Kuwait and a number of heads of public benefit associations working in the field of cancer awareness in Kuwait beginning delivered a speech on this occasion. A presentation was presented on the activities and initiatives of the past four years that were completed in the State of Kuwait and the Gulf states, in which all were thanked with work, volunteering and provided benefit to the community to confront cancer diseases.
